Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure effective sanitation without risk.
• Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, moving furniture or equipment, and maintaining safe lifting practices at all times.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring facilities meet health and safety protocols.
• Operate cleaning machinery and tools efficiently, including vacuums, floor buffers, and custodial equipment to deliver superior cleanliness.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for all occupants.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or concerns from staff or visitors.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to all safety protocol guidelines.
• Strong manual handling skills with experience in heavy lifting and safe lifting practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or custodial roles is preferred.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
