Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning professional to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities. This role involves performing a variety of custodial tasks to ensure a hygienic and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in accordance with safe lifting practices for moving furniture, supplies, or equipment.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and restocking supplies as needed to promote health and hygiene.
• Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs and reporting larger issues for prompt resolution.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all cleaning operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and industrial vacuums.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following chemical handling safety procedures.
• Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices for heavy objects.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
• Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing for long periods, heavy lifting, and manual labor as required.

Pay: $23.67 - $28.51 per hour
