Cleaning Operations Manager

About the role

QY Venture Pte Ltd is setting up a commercial cleaning services business serving hotels, serviced residences, co-living properties, offices and other commercial premises. We are looking for a hands-on Cleaning Operations Manager to help establish and grow the business from the ground up. The successful candidate will initially manage a small cleaning team and progressively take responsibility for multiple client sites as the business expands.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and manage day-to-day commercial cleaning operations
• Mobilise new client sites and ensure smooth commencement of services
• Recruit, roster, deploy and supervise cleaners
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain service quality
• Manage attendance, absenteeism and replacement manpower
• Develop cleaning SOPs, inspection checklists and operational processes
• Train and coach cleaners and site supervisors
• Manage cleaning equipment, chemicals, consumables and uniforms
• Monitor manpower productivity, site costs and service performance
• Handle operational feedback from clients and resolve service issues

About you

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience supervising commercial cleaning operations strongly preferred
• Experience managing cleaning teams in hotels, serviced residences, offices, commercial buildings, healthcare, co-living or similar environments
• Experience mobilising new cleaning contracts or sites will be an advantage
• Good understanding of commercial cleaning processes, equipment and chemicals
• Able to recruit, roster and manage frontline cleaning staff
• Hands-on, operational and comfortable travelling between client sites
• Good communication and client-management skills
• Knowledge of NEA Cleaning Business Licence requirements, PWM, WSQ cleaning training and bizSAFE will be an advantage
