Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 9:30am – 2:30pm
• Friday: 9:30am – 12:30pm

Overview:
Macleans is seeking a reliable and proactive Cleaning Operative to join our team in a busy second level school environment. This is a daytime, term-time role that requires flexibility and a responsive approach to daily school needs. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily cleaning duties across the school premises
• Respond to ad hoc and reactive cleaning requirements throughout the day
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
• Work collaboratively with the school team and Macleans colleagues
• Liaise with the Macleans office team and evening cleaning team to ensure continuity of service
• Assist with any additional cleaning tasks as required in a dynamic school setting

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills with a high standard of English
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to react to changing needs
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to handle situations calmly and professionally in a busy environment
