Cleaning Operative

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, thorough, and conscientious Cleaner to join our growing team across Greater Manchester.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards across commercial properties, offices, and client sites. If you take pride in delivering spotless results, work well both independently and in a team, and have great punctuality, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and deep cleaning duties across office spaces, commercial premises, and common areas.
• Dust and sanitize desks, surfaces, workstations, door handles, and touchpoints.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop hard floor surfaces.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, staff breakout areas, and replenishment of consumables (soap, paper towels, etc.).
• Empty waste bins, recycling containers, and dispose of rubbish safely and responsibly.
• Ensure proper and safe use, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment (adhering to COSHH guidelines).
• Secure client premises upon completion of shifts (locking doors, turning off lights, arming alarms where required).
• Report any maintenance defects, damages, or low stock levels promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in commercial, office, or professional contract cleaning (preferred, but training is provided for the right candidate).
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to professional hygiene standards.
• Must have the legal Right to Work in the UK.
• Good communication skills and a smartphone for site check-ins and communication.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is advantageous for traveling between client sites across Greater Manchester.
