H2OGO Cleaning Ltd is a family-run commercial cleaning company based in Essex. We look after offices, schools and commercial premises. We're growing steadily and want reliable people who take pride in a job done properly and want to grow with us.

The role

You'll keep a primary school and nursery clean, safe and welcoming for pupils and staff, working after the school day ends. Schools need high standards of hygiene and safeguarding, so this role suits someone careful, trustworthy and consistent.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, kitchens and communal areas to an agreed specification
• Vacuum, mop and wipe down surfaces, empty bins and replenish consumables
• Use our colour-coded cleaning system, child-safe products and COSHH procedures at all times
• Use and look after cleaning equipment safely; training is provided
• Follow the school's safeguarding, site access and security procedures
• Report maintenance issues, damage or anything unusual to the H2OGO team
• Treat the school's property and information with respect and confidentiality

What we're looking for

• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy: the school relies on us every day
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• Able to work on your own and follow written site instructions
• Comfortable with the physical side of cleaning (standing, bending, carrying equipment)
• Cleaning experience, especially in schools, is welcome but not essential; full training is given
• Reliable transport to reach the site for a 4pm start
• The right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS and safeguarding

This role requires a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check before you can start on site. If you already hold one or are registered with the DBS Update Service, please tell us. If not, H2OGO will arrange the check for you. You'll also receive safeguarding guidance as part of your induction.

All offers are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, references and right-to-work checks.
