Cleaning Operator (School PM only) Must have Enhanced DBS

Join our team as a Part Time Cleaner at our site in New Islington, Ancoats and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment for our client, pupils, staff and visitors.

This is a permanent position, paid on a monthly basis

Duties

• Perform cleaning tasks on classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain trash receptacles throughout the premises
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
• Use equipment safely and effectively to achieve optimal cleaning results

Qualifications

• Previous experience in educational cleaning is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Reliable with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is required
• You must have the Right to Work in the UK
• You must have a clean, valid Enhanced DBS

Shifts: Monday, Thursday, Friday 15:30-18:30, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 15:30-19:00, 43 weeks pro rata, paid on a salary basis. - 38 weeks term time - 1 week inset days and 4 weeks deep clean thru the school holidays of which the hours will be between 8am - 3pm

Paid the 5th working day of every month

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
