Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health and safety guidelines
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning products to maintain operational readiness
• Handle waste disposal efficiently and responsibly, ensuring proper segregation and recycling practices
• Assist with light maintenance tasks or reporting repairs needed to management
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following established cleaning procedures
• Provide friendly assistance to staff or visitors when needed, fostering a welcoming atmosphere

Experience

• Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with high standards of cleanliness and customer service
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, including use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and reaching comfortably
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
