Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as required
• Implement and adhere to cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools with skill and safety in mind
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting or moving furniture and supplies safely using proper techniques
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and any maintenance issues for accountability and quality assurance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, surface sanitation, floor cleaning techniques, and carpet care methods
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks with proper technique
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or outdoor fixtures
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools is preferred
