Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks across residential and commercial spaces, ensuring all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are spotless and sanitized. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met or exceeded
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or cleaning supplies with proper technique
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor work areas when required, including sweeping walkways or patios
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
• Follow established housekeeping management protocols to ensure consistency and quality in all cleaning activities

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures for various surfaces and materials including carpets, floors, windows, and fixtures
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and carpet extractors
• Ability to perform outdoor work efficiently when necessary in different weather conditions
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments promptly
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling activities throughout the workday
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
• Knowledge of safety standards related to the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment for sanitation purposes
