Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet extractors safely and effectively.
• Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and chemicals while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, floors, and fixtures using proper techniques tailored to each material type.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific needs and provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Support housekeeping management by following established protocols for janitorial duties and client requests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation practices, floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface disinfection.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other tools of the trade.
• Ability to handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work comfortably and safely.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills with clear communication abilities for client interaction.
• Experience with laundry processes and the use of various cleaning detergents is a plus.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday in various environments.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
