Commercial Cleaning Contractor (Part-Time / Weekend + Wednesday Evening)

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Hours: Approximately 16 hours/week (including drive time) - We pay for drive time

Location: Dayton, Ohio area - Willing to drive a within a 1 hour radius

Position Overview

Are you looking to earn extra income on top of your current job, or simply looking for a flexible part-time opportunity? We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Independent Commercial Cleaning Contractor to manage routine evening and weekend cleaning services for 5 commercial office facilities.

This position offers high flexibility, allowing you to complete 5 of the locations on your own schedule anytime over the weekend with 1 location needing cleaned ever Wednesday evening as well.

Schedule & Location Breakdown

• 5 Commercial Offices: To be cleaned on the weekend (Flexible hours—anytime Friday evening through Sunday night).
• 1 Commercial Office: To be cleaned every Wednesday after 6:15 PM as well as the weekend.
• Total Commitment: Approx. 16 hours per week (includes drive time between locations).

Core Responsibilities

• Floor Care: Vacuuming carpeted areas, rugs, and mats; sweeping and mopping hard floor surfaces.
• Surface Cleaning & Dusting: Dusting desks, tables, counter surfaces, windowsills, and accessible fixtures.
• Restroom Maintenance: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, mirrors, and counters; restocking paper products and soap dispensers.
• Waste Management: Emptying all trash cans, replacing liners, and disposing of waste/recycling in designated dumpsters.
• Quality Assurance: Following job site checklists accurately to ensure consistently high standards for every account.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional cleaning experience (commercial cleaning preferred).
• Language: Proficient English speaking skills for smooth communication and reading facility instructions.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while strictly following customer checklists.
• Transport: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites.
• Insurance: Active Business Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
• Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
