Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Implement proper sanitation procedures for all surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Operate various cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents effectively for different surfaces.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms with care and efficiency.
• Manage manual handling activities involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning environments; previous housekeeping management or custodial experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor cleaning, carpet extraction, dusting, and surface sanitation.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and safe handling practices for chemicals.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
