Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet health standards and client specifications
• Operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and janitorial tools with proper manual handling techniques
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through appropriate floor care methods such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing
• Use cleaning detergents safely and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
• Handle outdoor work tasks when required, including trash removal or outdoor surface cleaning
• Ensure proper storage and maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment for optimal performance
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial background preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated schedules
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and prolonged standing or walking
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper usage protocols
• Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward client satisfaction
