Starting Pay

$13.00-$15.00 per hour

Most team members receive a performance review after 90 days, with opportunities for raises based on attendance, reliability, quality, and teamwork.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of various commercial, industrial, and outdoor spaces. Your energetic approach and commitment to high standards will ensure environments are spotless, safe, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in industrial cleaning techniques while contributing to a clean and healthy environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of indoor and outdoor areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and hand tools, including mops, vacuums, pressure washers, and floor buffing machines.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and safety glasses to ensure safety during all cleaning tasks.
• Conduct manual handling of cleaning supplies, heavy lifting of equipment or materials, and ladder use for high or hard-to-reach areas.
• Execute specialized cleaning procedures such as duct cleaning, outdoor pressure washing, and industrial cleaning tasks.
• Follow strict safety protocols, including the proper use of fire extinguishers and adherence to safety guidelines during all operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, perform routine inspections of tools like hand tools and pressure washers, and report any maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning services provided.

Experience

• Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, pressure washers, duct cleaning tools, and fire extinguishers is advantageous.
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions enhances your ability to perform outdoor work efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to manual handling, heavy lifting, ladder use, and PPE compliance is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
