Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across residential and commercial properties, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed.
• Implement and adhere to established sanitation and cleaning procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely.
• Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms for clients.
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and proper manual handling techniques to transport supplies or move furniture safely.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs, schedule preferences, or special requests to ensure high levels of customer service.
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory using appropriate cleaning detergents and supplies while ensuring proper storage and disposal.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with familiarity in janitorial or custodial roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of floor cleaning techniques including carpet extraction, floor polishing, and outdoor surface maintenance.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards, surface cleaning methods, and the safe use of cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Experience managing housekeeping tasks such as dusting, surface sanitation, laundry services, and outdoor work.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client locations.
• Ability to perform physical duties including heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
• Prior experience in customer service roles that involve client communication and satisfaction focus is highly desirable.
