Role Description The Cleaning Supervisor is a part-time, hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, with some tasks able to be performed from home. This role oversees day-to-day cleaning operations, including assigning tasks, monitoring work quality, and ensuring that commercial spaces meet company standards. The supervisor coordinates schedules, supports and guides cleaning staff, and communicates clearly with clients and management about service needs and project updates. Responsibilities include inspecting completed work, maintaining supplies and equipment records, and enforcing health and safety procedures. The Cleaning Supervisor also assists with training new team members, resolving issues on-site, and documenting service reports and follow-up actions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team coordination, performance monitoring, and task delegation.
• Candidates should possess commercial cleaning skills and knowledge of appropriate cleaning techniques, tools, and products.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and management.
• Candidates should possess health & safety awareness, including familiarity with safe work practices and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Ability to organize workloads, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in a cleaning or facilities role, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
• Reliable transportation to various client locations in the Chicago, IL area.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in cleaning or safety are an asset.
