Cleaning Team Leader

To lead and support the cleaning team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the factory, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cleaning team.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules and hygiene standards are completed and maintained.
• Train, support, and monitor cleaning staff to ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Carry out routine inspections and address any cleanliness or hygiene issues promptly.
• Ensure the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Complete required cleaning tasks, records and documentation accurately.
• Liaise with management teams to ensure cleaning activities support operational requirements.
• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or hygiene role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience desirable.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
• English required

This role is responsible for setting high standards of cleanliness and teamwork while ensuring compliance with all company hygiene and safety requirements.
