Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, floor scrubbers, and waxing machines to achieve optimal results.
• Handle chemical agents safely, including mixing and applying floor cleaning chemicals, floor waxing, and refinishing products in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Conduct specialized floor care procedures like scrubbing, buffing, polishing, and refinishing to preserve the integrity of various flooring surfaces.
• Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, and equipment to ensure thorough cleaning coverage.
• Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities, supply inventory levels, and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and ensuring their environment exceeds expectations.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional settings is preferred.
• MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to environmental services standards.
• Familiarity with the use of floor cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures to ensure safety for self and others.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive motions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning results.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset.
