Duties

• Perform detailed cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance.
• Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment to remove stains and dirt buildup.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, offices, and other designated areas by disinfecting surfaces and replenishing supplies.
• Use specialized cleaning tools and products for environmental services that promote a healthy workspace.
• Execute routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, window washing, dusting, and surface sanitization.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and others.
• Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or institutional environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and general sanitation practices.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, extractors, vacuums, and environmentally friendly cleaning tools effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results consistently.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use is advantageous.
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
