Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and detailed surface cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals safely during tasks such as floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing to restore floors to their best condition.
• Operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, vacuums, and floor scrubbers efficiently and safely.
• Conduct specialized floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, floor waxing, buffing, and refinishing to ensure durable and attractive flooring.
• Manage chemical agents responsibly by following safety protocols for handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and floor cleaning agents.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or equipment while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and maintaining professional communication throughout service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services with knowledge of commercial cleaning practices.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques such as scrubbing, buffing, waxing, polishing, and refinishing floors.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively while following environmental safety standards.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
• Experience operating various cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
