Unica Enterprises is seeking a dependable, safety-minded cleaning technician to join our team. Perform detailed overnight cleaning of escalators and moving sidewalks at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Technicians use specialized cleaning equipment and manual methods to remove dirt, grease, stains, and debris while maintaining safe work areas and meeting quality standards.

What Success Looks Like

A successful Cleaning Technician:

• Completes assigned cleaning thoroughly and on time
• Operates equipment carefully and follows training and safety procedures
• Pays attention to corners, edges, and hard-to-reach areas
• Reports hazards, defects, and equipment concerns promptly
• Works cooperatively and maintains a professional airport presence

Key Responsibilities

• Deep clean escalator steps and moving sidewalk surfaces using approved equipment
• Manually clean step edges, corners, side areas, and top and bottom comb plates
• Remove dust, dirt, grease, oil, stains, and other buildup
• Set up and maintain safe work areas without obstructing airport passengers
• Follow procedures that prevent slip hazards, water intrusion, and electrical damage
• Inspect cleaning machines before use and report malfunctions or damage
• Use chemicals, tools, and personal protective equipment according to training
• Dispose of cleaning waste and liquids as directed
• Follow daily assignments and complete tasks to required quality standards
• Maintain proper uniform, professional conduct, and airport security practices

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

• Commercial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred
• Experience with powered floor-cleaning or specialty cleaning equipment a plus
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and learn specialized procedures
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork
• Ability to follow airport access, security, and safety requirements

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Overnight work within the 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. service window; weekends may be scheduled
• Extended walking and standing with bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive movements
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to safely maneuver cleaning equipment and perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must meet applicable DFW Airport badging and access requirements
• Uniform and required personal protective equipment must be worn
