Kennebec Cleans provides professional apartment turnover and common-area cleaning services for residential properties throughout Central Maine. Our team focuses on reliability, strong communication, and delivering consistently clean, move-in ready units for our clients.

We are looking for a Cleaning Technician who takes pride in their work and can help lead cleaning operations in the field.

**Cleaning experience is a PLUS but not required.**

Position Overview

The Cleaning Technician is responsible for completing apartment turnover cleanings, coordinating with Lead cleaners when working as a team, documenting completed work, and ensuring that units meet company cleaning standards.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Operations:

*Complete apartment turnover cleanings

*Perform common area cleaning tasks

*Ensure units are thoroughly cleaned and move-in ready

Team Coordination:

* Coordinate with assistant cleaners when working as a team

Documentation & Reporting:

Supplies & Equipment:

* A cleaning tote with basic supplies, mop, and vacuum will be provided for all cleaning duties.

Communication:

* Communicate job status, schedule updates, or issues with the operations coordinator *Monitor operational messages during working hours

Work Expectations

• Travel between job sites is required
• Communication with the operations team occurs primarily through Slack
• Professional conduct is expected in client properties

Compensation

• Starting pay: $18–$22 per hour depending on experience
• Anywhere from 8–24 hours per week to start. Additional hours may be available during peak turnover seasons.
• Opportunity for increased leadership responsibilities and pay as the company grows.
