Cleaning Technician - Flex

Overview

We are seeking a cleaning technician for Medical Facilities in the Henry County, Indiana area. The cleaning technician is responsible for performing cleaning duties according to client specifications and procedures.

Some duties include:

• Dusting, cleaning and sanitizing surfaces
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing and buffing floors
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathroom sinks, vanities, commodes and mirrors
• Emptying garbage bins
• Refilling supplies as needed
• Cleaning buildings for move-in/move-out

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and without supervision
• Possess a customer service mindset to serve clients in a professional, cooperative and courteous manner
• Possess good communication skills in order to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional manner
• Ability to use diplomacy and tact and maintain good relations with employees

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Much be able to pass a drug screening
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• At least one year of previous commercial cleaning experience required

Minimum Physical Requirements/Working Environment:

• Job involves standing for long periods of time, bending, walking, crouching, twisting, reaching above one’s head, getting in and out of vehicles, etc.
• Lifting materials of up to 50 pounds
• Using backpack vacuum weighing up to 10 pounds and mechanical floor buffer
• Visual capability is required to adequately inspect the results of cleaning
• Working environment is generally quiet, after a client business closes, often during evening and weekend hours
• Working environment includes the use of various chemicals

Schedule and Hours:

• Part-time, up to 25 hours per week
• Primarily evenings and weekends

Pay Range: $13 - $15/Hour

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
