Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and maintaining accurate records of chemical usage.
• Conduct custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Operate cleaning machinery and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocol adherence and safe lifting practices during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks.
• Maintain facilities by performing minor maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs or reporting larger repairs needed for facilities maintenance.
• Support commercial cleaning projects or residential cleaning assignments with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any facility-related concerns promptly and courteously.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, with familiarity in custodial practices and commercial or residential cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation including floor buffers, vacuums, and other specialized tools.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely by following chemical handling safety procedures and understanding sanitation standards.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and safety protocol adherence in all tasks performed.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple duties efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
