Clearing Coordinator

The Role

Clearing Coordinator performs the DPS Clearing processes related to the customer and obtain all required origin paperwork necessary for Clearing.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinates delivery date/time with the clearing department on DP3 Shipments. Contacts the member to coordinate a direct delivery or delivery into storage. Provides assistance to the member in answering any questions or concerns regarding the delivering date / time of the shipment.
• Requests paperwork for delivered shipments in the Clearing Dashboard and updates system with actual weight. Updates the Pickup of the shipment within all systems and emails the paperwork to the origin base.
• Assists in DP3 shipments that need to be cleared, delivery directs and delivery out of SIT (including requesting new addresses in DPS) using the Clearing Dashboard/Utopia.
• Coordinates with other departments to ensure information is relayed effectively.
• Ensures storage @ origin shipments are processed and tracked daily.
• Other projects and duties as necessary.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma with 1+ years customer service/sales experience, AA preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
• Problem sensitivity and ability to solve problems.
• Pleasant and professional phone voice.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programs.
• Knowledge of all internal computer systems.
• Ability to work under changing deadlines.
