Client Account Manager (Mining)

Main Purpose of the Job

The Account Manager is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts, ensuring service delivery excellence, contract compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitable account growth. The role serves as the primary interface between Chromotion and its customers while ensuring operational performance through effective management of Site Supervisors and branch support functions.

The incumbent is accountable for customer retention, SLA compliance, service delivery oversight, account profitability, business development, and operational performance within their assigned portfolio.

Education, experience and competencies

• Matric and National Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in account management, service delivery, business development, or technical operations.
• Mining or heavy industrial experience preferred.
• Experience managing customer contracts and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct regular customer visits and review meetings.
• Manage customer expectations and service requirements.
• Resolve customer complaints and escalations.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Manage service contracts and customer agreements.
• Ensure SLA compliance.
• Monitor contractual obligations and service performance.
• Conduct contract review meetings.
• Identify contractual risks and implement corrective actions.
• Lead Site Supervisors and Branch Administrators.
• Monitor maintenance performance, breakdown response, and machine availability.
• Ensure operational resources are deployed effectively.
• Review operational KPIs and service delivery performance.
• Escalate operational risks to the Field Services Manager.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing customers.
• Promote Chromotion products and services.

Pay: R35 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
