Client Acquisition and Business Development Manager

About the role

Duacare Support Solutions (DSS) is seeking an experienced, results-driven Client Acquisition & Business Development Manager to lead growth strategy across Adelaide and greater South Australia. This is a pivotal role designed for a strategic NDIS professional who thrives on building high-value referral networks and ensuring seamless, compliant participant onboarding. You will be responsible for expanding the footprint while ensuring every new partnership aligns with the NDIS Practice Standards and Duacare's commitment to high-quality support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a robust growth strategy aligned with Duacare's registered support categories
• Proactively cultivate and maintain referral pathways with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, LACs, Allied Health providers, and hospitals
• Represent Duacare at networking events, disability expos, and community engagement forums across South Australia
• Drive and maintain high occupancy levels for shared living (SIL) and daily support models
• Track referral trends and provide detailed growth and revenue KPI reports to the Directorship
• Lead the participant journey from initial enquiry through to successful service commencement
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to match participant goals and funding with Duacare's service offerings
• Ensure all service agreements are accurate, person-centered, and NDIS-compliant
• Maintain meticulous records within the CRM to track the intake pipeline
• Ensure all onboarding processes meet the NDIS Code of Conduct and Practice Standards

About you

• 2–5+ years in NDIS Business Development, Intake, or Service Coordination
• Deep understanding of the NDIS Act, Practice Standards, and South Australian disability landscape
• Proven ability to navigate service agreements and registration conditions for personal support services
• Exceptional communication skills with a track record of meeting growth targets
• Current Driver's Licence, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Previous experience preparing an organisation for NDIS Certification Audits (desirable)
• Background in Community Nursing or Shared Living (SIL) models (desirable)
• Proficiency in NDIS-specific CRM software (desirable)
• Ethical and compliance-driven with commitment to doing things the right way for the participant
• Strategic thinker with ability to see the big picture while executing daily operational tasks
