What they need

Marcus Evans is a global leader in business intelligence and growth partner for leading businesses worldwide, helping our clients grow by making connections, sharing knowledge, inspiring people, building relationships and creating new opportunities. Since 1983, we have brought decision-makers together through high-level summits, conferences, online platforms and performance programmes, working across all sectors and regions.

Our overriding approach is one of collaboration, and our belief that "We'll be our most successful when we work together." We recognise excellence and actively develop top performers into future leaders. Our culture promotes teamwork, continuous learning and global career growth.

About Client Analytics

Client Analytics is a new team in Hyderabad. It partners with the Managing Directors who lead our sales offices around the world, and helps them manage every client account to a consistent standard: before an event, on site and long after it. The team works on the data and discipline behind how we keep and grow clients, so our sales leaders can spend their time in front of them.

Job Summary

We're hiring Client Analytics Business Partner to work alongside the Managing Directors who run our sales offices in North America, APAC and Europe. You'll own the account management rhythm for those offices. That covers the rebook plan before every event, the results after it, the clients we're trying to win back, and the health of every active account. You'll turn client data into a clear view of where each account stands and what should happen next.

This is a partnering role, not a sales role and not an administrative one. You won't sell to clients. You will be the person an MD relies on to know whether the right work has been done on every account, to prompt it when it hasn't, and to report it clearly to our senior leadership.

This is an hybrid role in our Hyderabad office. Working hours overlap with the business day of the offices you support in North America and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan & Report: Build the pre-event rebook review four weeks out, covering what we plan to offer each client and how well we know them. Check that pricing has reached the sales team in time. Run a strategy update with the MD in the final one to two weeks. Four weeks after the event, report the outcome for every client.
  • Win back lost clients: Own the lost opportunity list for your offices. Categorise each account, keep it current and review it with the MD every four weeks. Run the win-back programme, including the controlled use of complimentary video meetings. Track the results of reassigned accounts.
  • Know the active portfolio: Keep a live view of each client showing what we know, what we plan to offer and when we next engage them. Use CRM data, AI tools and third-party sources to build the picture, and spot where the account can grow.
  • Hold the standard: Monitor adherence to the account management workflow and alert the MD when a step is missed. Track KPIs and scoring, keep the dashboard current, and flag where retraining is needed. Work with Learning & Quality to train sales teams.
  • Report to leadership: Present evidence-based reviews and clear recommendations to senior leadership, including the Chairman and CEO.
  • Work across the business: Partner with Operations, Finance, Marketing and Technology. Direct the Account Management Coordinators who support your offices. Suggest improvements to our reports and tools, including where AI can save time.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, economics, statistics or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years in sales operations, revenue operations, commercial analytics, account management analytics or a similar role supporting sales leaders
  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders in the US, UK or Europe, and the confidence to challenge them constructively
  • Advanced Excel, plus hands-on experience with a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Able to turn data into a short, clear recommendation that a busy senior leader can act on
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1 or above)
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing several stakeholders, deadlines and reporting cycles at once
  • Discretion with commercially sensitive information
  • Willing to work hours that overlap with North American and European offices

Preferred

  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification
  • Experience in B2B services, events, media, consulting or financial services
  • Experience with dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience using AI tools for research and analysis
  • Familiarity with sales intelligence platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo or Apollo
  • Experience supporting account management, client retention or key account programmes
