Client Benefits Advisor

CANDIDATE-FACING JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time, client-facing benefits role for someone who communicates well, learns quickly, and wants a clear path into the insurance industry. JR Insurance Group provides training and ongoing coaching, so insurance experience is not required.

As a Client Benefits Advisor, you will meet with individuals and families, learn what they are trying to protect, walk them through available benefit options, and help them complete applications and enrollment steps. The work is relationship-driven. Clients should leave each conversation understanding what they reviewed and what happens next.

What you will handle:

• Meet with clients in person or virtually to discuss benefit needs
• Explain available insurance products and coverage in plain language
• Help with applications, enrollment, documentation, and follow-up
• Keep client records accurate and organized
• Maintain relationships after the initial conversation
• Participate in training, coaching, and team meetings

Strong communication, professionalism, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn matter more than previous insurance experience. Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, banking, or healthcare experience can transfer well into this position.

Work location: In person, with some client meetings conducted virtually.
