Client Care and Veterinary Technician

Established privately owned veterinary hospital looking for a Full-time &/or Part-time Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. Candidates must be dedicated, dependable, hard-working, possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask in a busy small medical office environment. The position is a combination of room technician and reception work - we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a clean hospital environment
• Answering phone calls/scheduling appointments
• Checking clients in/out
• Client Education
• Animal restraint during exams & procedures
• Running in-house bloodwork/IDEXX
• Venipuncture and placing IV catheters
• Assisting in surgery and dentals

Candidates must also be available to work at least every other Saturday morning.
