Job Summary

D&A is seeking an organised, proactive and detail-focused Client Coordinator to join our Adelaide-based team in a remote-first role.

You will manage and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients, coordinating the delivery of O&M Manuals, Commissioning Plans, Drafting and Engineering services across multiple concurrent projects.

This role suits someone from a Contract Administration, Account Management or Document Control background who is used to working from home and ready for a fast-paced coordination role with real responsibility for client delivery outcomes.

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Remote-first working arrangement with structured communication, defined responsiveness expectations, and performance measured on delivery outcomes.

You will have ownership of client relationships and project coordination while being supported by an experienced team.

About Dewick & Associates

Dewick & Associates provide a practical, flexible and professional Technical Writing and Mechanical Engineering service. Our team of experienced and dedicated staff specialise in all Construction Documentation including Building Handover Manuals, O&M Manuals, Commissioning documents, As-Installed Drawings and Mechanical Engineering, providing an efficient and personalised outsourcing option to the Construction Industry.

About the role

This is a client-facing coordination role in a fast-moving documentation environment.

You will act as the primary point of contact for our clients, responsible for pricing, coordinating, and facilitating the preparation of complex Construction Documentation. Direct experience within the Construction Industry is essential.

This is a performance-driven role, where success is measured by consistency of delivery, responsiveness to clients and internal teams, and the ability to independently manage workload without constant supervision.

This full-time remote-first role based in South Australia, operating within agreed business hours. The role requires consistent availability, active communication and engagement during working hours, with flexibility managed through agreed arrangements. The role is expected to be managed with the same professionalism, responsiveness and accountability as an office-based position.

While this is a flexible remote role, it operates within a structured and performance-focused framework:

  • Daily responsiveness to client and team communications during standard business hours
  • Active participation in internal coordination and workflow updates
  • Regular progress tracking of assigned client within internal systems
  • Ability to manage workload independently while maintaining visibility of priorities and deadlines
  • Agreed flexibility around core hours:operation within core team hours of 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with the ability to adjust remaining hours based on a mutually agreed, predictable schedule.
  • Consistent delivery against agreed timelines and quality standards
  • Professional availability and reliability equivalent to an in-office role

This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, structure and working independently while remaining connected with the team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Proactively manage and nurture ongoing client relationships via email and phone to secure repeat business.
  • Project Coordination: Price, quote and log projects accurately within the D&A system, tracking them to ensure delivery on time and to D&A’s high standards.
  • Business Growth: Maintain networks with existing clients and identify new project managers within those companies to expand our market share.
  • Team Collaboration: Work dynamically with our internal Client Coordinator and Technical Writing teams to finalise documentation, conduct reviews, and manage Quality Assurance (QA) checks.
  • Accountability: Participate in structured team coordination and maintain visibility of active workload

Key Selection Criteria

Your existing experience will be key in demonstrating your suitability for the role, including:

  • Industry Experience: Proven, direct experience working within the Construction Industry (highly valued: backgrounds in Contract Administration, Account Management, or Document Control).
  • Elite Time Management: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, juggle competing demands, and meet tight construction deadlines.
  • High Autonomy, Initiative & Drive: A proven track record of working independently without supervision, while maintaining high productivity and output.
  • Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, and the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms). Experience with Bluebeam is highly advantageous.
  • Communication Excellence: Flawless written and verbal English skills, with a sharp eye for detail needed for precise correspondence and QA checks.

Benefits

D&A operates in a remote working environment. The successful applicant will be offered:

  • True Flexibility: Fully work-from-home position (Adelaide-based for local team alignment).
  • Competitive Salary: Remuneration tailored to your experience and industry knowledge.
  • Reward for Hard Work: Full training, a supportive leadership team, and genuine career progression as our business expands nationally.
  • Supportive Team Environment: Join a dynamic, experienced and approachable team that values open communication, knowledge sharing and helping each other succeed.
