Client Coverage Specialist

CANDIDATE-FACING JOB DESCRIPTION

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

The Client Coverage Specialist helps people review available benefit options, understand what their coverage means, and

complete the steps needed to enroll. This is a client-facing insurance and benefits position, not a back-office data-entry job.

DO I NEED INSURANCE EXPERIENCE?

No. Previous insurance experience can help, but it is not required. Training and ongoing mentorship are part of the role.

WHAT WOULD I ACTUALLY DO?

You would meet with clients in person and virtually, ask questions about their needs, explain plan information, answer coverage

questions, assist with applications and required documents, maintain accurate records, and follow up until the next step is

complete.

WHAT KIND OF PERSON FITS?

Someone who is professional, organized, comfortable talking with different types of people, and dependable with follow-up. Basic

computer skills and the ability to learn new systems are important. Customer service or sales experience is useful but not

mandatory.

DO I NEED A LICENSE?

An active insurance license is a plus. Candidates who are not currently licensed may be considered, and licensing assistance may

be available.

WHERE IS THE JOB?

Chicago, Illinois. Work location is in person, with some client conversations handled virtually.

WHAT IS THE PAY RANGE?

$75,000-$95,000 per year.
