Plenty of businesses have earned tax credits they’ve never claimed, and most have no idea. Your job is to find them and get us in the door.

We’re hiring a client development representative who likes to sell and likes to win. We’ll teach you tax credits. What we can’t teach is the drive to pick up the phone, start the conversation, and land the meeting.

What you’ll do
Most of your time goes to opening doors. You’ll prospect business owners and CFOs, build relationships with the CPAs who send us work, and set up conversations that lead to engagements. You’ll hand those opportunities to our advisors, sit in while they close, and keep the relationship warm. That’s how you learn the business.

How we sell
The number of AI slop emails that are sent every day is why we think that email is mostly dead. Business owners have stopped reading them. What AI can’t do is pick up the phone, provide a human connection, or show up with donuts. That’s the job. We’ve had people try to do it from their inbox, and it doesn’t work. If you’d rather send a hundred emails than make ten calls, this isn’t for you.

What’s hard about it
This isn’t a desk job with a script. You’ll hear no a lot. CPAs won’t call you back the first three times. Some weeks the pipeline will look thin, and fixing that is your job. You’ll also travel. We need to be in front of our clients, and that means getting on the road. If a couple of nights at a hotel in a small Georgia town doesn’t sound fun, this isn’t the right fit.

Who you are
Maybe you sold something, ran a fundraiser, competed in a sport, or held a job where your pay depended on your results. You don’t need a tax or accounting background. You do need to be someone who:

• Goes after things without waiting to be told
• Bounces back from rejection fast
• Wants coaching and is teachable
• Can hold their own in a conversation with a business owner, in person or on the phone

Pay and benefits
$70,000 base. With bonus and commission, a rep hitting their goals should earn $90,000 to $100,000. Benefits include health, dental, vision, an HSA, a 401(k) with match, and paid time off.

When you’re not on the road, you work remotely. We expect you to show up ready to work hard.
