Their network includes thousands of clinicians, pharma scientists, biologists and life sciences specialists, and they are now a go-to partner for foundation model companies and research labs that need genuinely white-glove human data.

Demand is outpacing capacity, and they are growing their Expert Data Services team to keep up. This is an opportunity to join at an exciting inflection point, with equity at an attractive stage ahead of the next phase of growth.

This role is based in New York or San Francisco on a hybrid basis, but they are open to fully remote candidates anywhere in the US for the right person.

The Role

As an Engagement Manager, you will own the execution and delivery of high-impact AI data generation and model improvement projects in healthcare and clinical domains, while acting as the day-to-day point of contact for your customers. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to make sure projects land with high quality, speed and reliability.

They are hiring across a range of seniority levels. At every level, you will own client relationships and project delivery. More senior hires will run their own book with significant autonomy, taking on greater ownership of commercial outcomes and customer strategy.

What you'll do

• Own day-to-day client relationships with foundation model companies, life sciences organizations and research labs, acting as a trusted partner
• Own a book of business, with accountability for revenue, margin, retention and expansion
• Lead end-to-end creation and delivery of advanced AI model training datasets
• Coordinate distributed teams of clinical and life sciences experts
• Maintain high quality standards through strong guidelines and QA processes
• Contribute to proposals, proactive dataset development and benchmark creation
• Improve operational systems to increase speed, quality and consistency
• Senior level: own deal scoping, pricing, expansion planning and P&L for your book

What you'll bring

• 2 to 6 years owning outcomes in human data operations, consulting, strategy or another fast-paced, operationally heavy role
• A strong executor who enjoys owning complex projects end to end
• Confident owning relationships with demanding, technical customers
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused, especially in regulated environments
• A clear, structured communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
• Able to operate independently with accountability and urgency
• Hungry, scrappy and low ego, happy to get into the weeds
• Human data or AI data experience is a strong plus. A healthcare or life sciences background is not required
• Consulting backgrounds are welcome, particularly with data or tech exposure
