What they need

The Opportunity | Te ĀheingaWe're looking for a Client Experience Associate to join a growing investment and KiwiSaver organisation in a part-time, 12-month parental leave cover (approximately 18 hours per week).

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded financial services business where you'll help New Zealanders navigate important financial decisions while continuing to build your own knowledge and expertise. With flexibility around how the hours are worked across two or three days, this role could suit someone looking for professional, meaningful work that fits around other commitments.

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
This is not a traditional contact centre role. Rather than passing enquiries between teams, you'll take ownership of client conversations and work with clients from enquiry through to resolution. You'll support both existing clients and prospective investors across a broad range of topics, making this a varied role with plenty of opportunity to learn and develop.

You'll be helping clients with everything from accessing their online portal and updating account information through to navigating KiwiSaver, managed funds, withdrawals, fees, and market-related questions. The variety means no two days look quite the same.

Working across phone, email and live chat, you'll be trusted to provide clear, informed support while building strong relationships with clients and delivering an exceptional experience at every interaction.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Responding to client and prospective investor enquiries via phone, email and live chat
  • Helping clients navigate KiwiSaver, managed funds, withdrawals, contributions and account administration
  • Explaining fees, processes, fund information and market updates in a way that is clear and easy to understand
  • Supporting clients with digital tools, online access and portal-related enquiries
  • Resolving a wide variety of client queries while taking ownership through to completion
  • Maintaining accurate client information across multiple systems
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across the business to ensure seamless client outcomes
  • Building your knowledge of investments, financial markets and wealth management through ongoing learning and development

What We Offer | Ā Mātou Tuku

  • Flexible part-time hours - approximately 18 hours per week
  • Meaningful work - helping New Zealanders make informed decisions about their financial future
  • Structured training and support - with ongoing coaching and development
  • Professional growth - opportunities to further develop your financial services knowledge and qualifications
  • Variety and ownership - a broad role where no two days are the same
  • Collaborative culture - a supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together

About You | Māu
We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, brings positive energy to client interactions, and genuinely cares about delivering great outcomes.
You'll likely bring:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within financial services, banking, insurance, KiwiSaver, investments, or a similar professional environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain information in a clear and practical way
  • A genuine interest in financial services, investments, or financial wellbeing
  • A proactive approach to learning and building your knowledge
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team
  • Clear AML Verification Check, MOJ and Credit Check

We believe diversity is vital to a healthy, high-performing workplace. That’s why we’re committed to delivering a psychologically safe recruitment experience. One that uncovers and celebrates your strengths. If traditional hiring processes don’t bring out your best let us know. We want you to shine, not shy away.

Next Steps

Apply now - you'll need to hold New Zealand citizenship, residency, or a valid work visa.

If this role isn’t a perfect match, we still encourage you to apply or register your details on our website. If this isn’t quite the right fit, another role might be.
