Gen AI Academy

About Gen AI Academy
Gen AI Academy runs hands-on AI workshops and coaching for CEOs and their teams, on ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini. Participants spend about 75% of every session using AI on their own work. Since 2023, we've trained 800+ CEOs across industries, sectors and continents.
Demand is growing faster than we can follow up on it. That's why this role exists.
The Role
Our sessions for CEO peer networks introduce us to leaders who want the same training for their teams, and many clients return to buy their next program. We need someone to own what happens next: follow up, scope the right program, propose and close.
You'll work directly with our founder and run the process end to end, from first follow-up to signed proposal. The role can be part-time or full-time.
What You'll Do

Turn warm interest into closed deals.
Follow up after partner sessions and workshops, run discovery calls, recommend the right program, send proposals and close.

Grow existing accounts.
Engage current and past clients at the right moment and propose the next step: a Build Lab, our Advancement Series or executive coaching.

Meet prospects at partner sessions.
Coordinate dates and logistics with CEO peer networks, open sessions and support attendees – the people you'll follow up with.

Keep your pipeline current.
Log deals in our CRM, which is how commission is credited, with AI tools doing much of the updating.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of consultative B2B sales, closing with senior leaders (VP to CEO)

A track record of closing five-figure deals, including some of $75K or more, with several decision-makers involved

Experience selling training, coaching, consulting or other professional services

Hands-on AI fluency: you use ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Gemini every day and can show a client what they make possible

Clear, prompt, warm written follow-up

Comfort working independently and being paid on results

Nice to Have

Relationships with business leaders or CEO peer networks

Experience facilitating or assisting live workshops

Experience with Zoho CRM

Experience selling to higher education or nonprofits

How You're Paid
This is a commission-based, independent contractor role. You earn a percentage of the revenue from deals you close. We'll walk through the full structure in our first conversation.
