Client Inventory Specialist

We are looking for a dependable Client Inventory Specialist to support inventory control, order fulfillment, and customer service operations at an onsite client location in Wisconsin. This permanent role is a contract opportunity with the potential to become permanent for someone who enjoys balancing detailed inventory work with responsive service and daily coordination across multiple locations. The position plays an important part in keeping materials organized, available, and moving efficiently to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor replenishment and backorder activity, review inventory reports, and take action to keep stock levels aligned with demand.

• Check document and publication revision details, confirm material records and bill of materials information, and ensure order data is accurate before release.

• Forward verified requests for internal processing and support timely order ticket creation for downstream fulfillment.

• Receive inbound shipments each day, organize materials, and distribute items to plant, warehouse, service parts, and central store locations.

• Transport boxes of materials between customer warehouse locations using a personal vehicle, with daily local travel and mileage reimbursement provided.

• Enter orders based on incoming requests, pick products from inventory, package items securely, and prepare shipments for delivery or freight.

• Maintain stock organization through regular restocking activities and help support annual and ongoing physical inventory accuracy.

• Serve as backup support for call center operations by handling customer calls professionally, answering inquiries, and processing requests efficiently.

• At least 2 years of experience in inventory, materials coordination, order fulfillment, or a related support role.

• Ability to manage inventory tracking, order picking, receiving, and restocking tasks with strong attention to detail.

• Previous customer service or call center experience, including handling inquiries in a detail-oriented and timely manner.

• Comfortable working onsite on a permanent basis and coordinating work across multiple internal and offsite locations.

• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to make local deliveries on a daily basis.

• Ability to lift and move boxes of materials as part of routine distribution and delivery responsibilities.

• Strong organizational skills and basic computer proficiency for order entry, reporting review, and record accuracy.
