Client Lead

Spark Business Hawke’s Hub Bay is one of Spark New Zealand’s highest-performing business partners, based in Napier. We’re growing and looking for a Client Lead to join our high-performing team and help us continue delivering outstanding outcomes for local businesses.

About the role
In this customer-facing role you’ll manage and grow a portfolio of SME clients across Hawke’s Bay. You’ll combine account management with business development—building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities, and providing ICT solutions that make a difference.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and nurture a large base of valued business customers
• Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities
• Understand customer needs and recommend tailored Spark ICT solutions
• Provide responsive, high-quality service and end-to-end account support
• Work in a fast-paced, technical environment and deliver to targets

About you

• Proven B2B sales and/or account management experience (SME market is ideal)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable in front of customers
• A self-starter who can hit the ground running and work autonomously
• Sound knowledge of ICT and solution selling (procurement/acquisition experience is a plus)
• Strong organisation and follow-through, with a focus on delivering results
