Client Manager

Your New Opportunity

An opportunity is available for an experienced Client Manager to join a Melbourne-based accounting team.

This role would suit an experienced accounting professional with 5+ years' experience in a professional accounting firm who enjoys working closely with clients, mentoring team members and contributing to business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, including client relationships, task turnaround and WIP management.
• Participate in and independently lead client meetings.
• Perform analytical reviews of your own and the team's work to identify client opportunities and risks.
• Review and sign off on client work.
• Draft advice on financial, taxation and investment matters for Partner review.
• Provide technical guidance, training and mentorship to team members.
• Develop strategies to support Division 7A compliance.
• Research technical matters and compile insights to support decision-making.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
• Contribute to workplace groups and firm-wide initiatives.

About You

• 5+ years' experience within a professional accounting firm.
• CA qualification preferred, with CPA-qualified candidates also considered.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and mentoring skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to client service and business growth.
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to confidently work with clients and team members.

Salary

$100,000 – $135,000 + Super, depending on experience.
