ServiceFM is looking for an experienced Client Manager to take ownership of soft services portfolios across Queensland. This is a role for someone who has done the work, knows the industry, and is ready to step into a position where their impact is genuinely felt — by clients, by their team, and by the business.

About the Role

You will be the face of ServiceFM for your clients — the person they trust to deliver, problem-solve, and keep standards high. From mobilising new contracts to managing day-to-day operations, you'll own your portfolio end-to-end and lead the supervisors and teams on the ground.

This is a hands-on, out-in-the-field role — no two days are the same, and that's exactly what makes it interesting.

What you will be doing:

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring service levels are consistently met and exceeded.
• Leading contract start-ups and managing transitions with minimal disruption.
• Conducting regular site inspections and proactively identifying and resolving non-conformances.
• Supporting, developing and holding accountable the supervisors and staff within your portfolio.
• Managing budgets, labour, subcontractors, and supplies to hit profitability targets.
• Keeping on top of equipment maintenance, stock control, and compliance requirements.
• Contributing to minor business development activity as opportunities arise.

About You

You come from the commercial cleaning or soft services industry and you are ready to own a portfolio, not just manage one. You bring:

• Proven experience in soft services or commercial cleaning operations.
• Strong leadership — you know how to get the best from people and set a high bar.
• Sharp organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball.
• Clear, confident communication — with clients, with your team, and with leadership.
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
• High resilience — you stay composed under pressure, bounce back quickly when things do not go to plan, and keep your team steady when the pace picks up.
• A current, valid Australian driver's licence is a requirement of this role.
