Client Onboarding / KYC Analyst (Global Markets)
Contract Duration: 6 Months

About the Role
Join the Global Banking & Markets New Business Group, part of the Operations division, to support client onboarding and account opening activities. You will work closely with Sales, clients and internal stakeholders to ensure onboarding requests are managed efficiently and completed within the expected timelines.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional with strong communication skills, a client-focused mindset and an interest in banking operations, KYC or compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate client onboarding requests with Sales and prioritise activities based on business needs.
• Manage documentation and account opening processes from initiation through completion.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the onboarding journey.
• Liaise with internal teams, including Legal, Credit Risk, Compliance and Operations, to facilitate timely onboarding.
• Provide regular updates on onboarding progress and outstanding requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks, resolve operational issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and support process improvements to enhance the client experience.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Internship experience to 2 years of experience in KYC, compliance, client onboarding, banking operations or a customer-facing role. Recent graduates with outstanding communication skills are welcome to apply.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Able to multitask, manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an awareness of risk and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; data analytics knowledge or experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in other languages is highly desirable.
