About the role

This is a full-time role for candidates based in the Las Vegas or Henderson area.

You are the person our clients hear from most often. You keep their tax work moving by getting what we need from them, telling them where things stand, and making sure nothing sits waiting. You do not need a tax background. Our Tax Advisors and Tax Compliance team answer the tax questions, and you make sure the client gets a clear answer and a next step.

What you'll do

• Respond to client messages quickly and clearly, and make sure every client knows what is happening with their work and what we need from them next.
• Collect documents and information from clients, follow up on what is missing, and check that what comes in is complete before it goes to the tax team.
• Schedule calls between clients and our Tax Advisors and keep those conversations on the calendar.
• Route tax questions to the right person on our team and follow through until the client has an answer.
• Keep our systems current so the whole team can see where every client stands.
• Hand off tasks to our offshore client operations team, check that they are complete, and flag where quality slips.
• Help us build the workflow, including what clients keep asking for and where the process could be improved.

Who you are

• You have worked in customer support or client service and you are good at it.
• You are patient and warm with people, including when they are stressed about money or deadlines.
• You are careful with details, and you check your own work.
• You work hard and you follow through without being reminded.
• You are comfortable talking about personal finance, and you are not thrown by tax documents, account statements, or financial terms.
• You write clearly.
• You are comfortable working remotely across client portals, secure file sharing, scheduling tools, and shared trackers.
• You live in the Las Vegas or Henderson area.
