Client Partner - Utilities

For our client, we are seeking a Client Partner - Utilities to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will lead strategic client relationships across the utilities and energy market, with a strong focus on driving large-scale AI and digital transformation engagements. The ideal candidate will partner closely with executive stakeholders to shape solutions, expand accounts, and deliver measurable business impact in a high-growth environment. This position also plays a key role in market expansion, commercial execution, and cross-functional alignment around innovative technology offerings.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $240,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead origination and closure of enterprise AI transformation opportunities in the Energy sector valued at $10M-$50M+
• Advise C-suite executives on strategic roadmaps for AI integration in utilities
• Own the P&L of a portfolio while expanding key client partnerships
• Capture local market share by targeting regional energy providers and utilities
• Manage cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in AI deployment and client ROI
• Steer the development of proprietary AI solutions based on market needs

Qualifications

• 15+ years of executive client leadership experience from a Tier-1 consulting or technology firm, such as MBB or Accenture
• Experience managing a portfolio exceeding $20M in digital and AI consulting within Energy/Utilities
• Established relationships with Houston C-suite executives and boards to help accelerate sales
• Expertise in utilities operations, including grid modernization and regulatory frameworks
• Deep understanding of AI technologies and their business applications for the energy sector
• Skill in negotiating complex, high-stakes commercial agreements
