Client Project Manager

Client Project Manager | FinTech SaaS | £90–100k + Benefits | Reading (Hybrid)

A leading FinTech SaaS business is looking for a commercially minded Client Project Manager to manage complex client projects and help deliver scalable product solutions.

The Client Project Manager will work across Account Management, Product and Delivery. You’ll manage client requirements and change requests, assess feasibility and costs, and ensure solutions deliver value for both clients and the business.

Salary Package: £90–100k + Benefits

Location: Reading, 2 days per week

The focus is on maximising an established SaaS product, prioritising existing functionality and roadmap features that can benefit multiple clients, rather than creating unnecessary bespoke solutions. You’ll need the confidence to challenge requirements, manage expectations and handle difficult conversations with senior external stakeholders, while maintaining strong client relationships.

The Client Project Manager will:

Own complex client projects from initial requirements through to delivery and handover.

Coordinate Account Management, Product and Delivery teams to agree the best solutions.

Manage client change requests, project budgets, risks and contractual considerations.

Work with Product to assess client feedback and support commercially driven prioritisation.

Challenge bespoke development where the commercial case or wider product value is limited.

Build trusted relationships with senior clients and identify opportunities to improve product adoption.

The Client Project Manager must have:

Strong client-facing project management experience within SaaS, software or technology.

A commercial mindset and understanding of scalable product delivery.

Excellent stakeholder management and the confidence to challenge demanding clients.

Experience managing scope, budgets, risks and change requests.

The ability to work across teams in a lean, collaborative environment.

Financial services experience, particularly with investment banks, asset management or retail banks.
