Client Relations Representative II

Summary

The Client Relations Representative II is directly involved in serving the banking needs of our clients by assisting customers in selecting the best banking products to meet their needs, opening and maintaining accounts, and providing ongoing customer service. Satisfied clients are the cornerstone of our success and individuals selected for this position have as a primary function the goal of participating in a branch environment conducive to creating the most favorable image possible from the client’s perspective.

Essential Functions

• Represents the Bank to the client in a courteous and professional manner, and provides prompt, efficient and accurate service.
• Understands and follows Bank policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present compelling proposals that align with the customers’ requirements.
• Account information input and maintenance completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure account/client information and documentation required is received to meet compliance standards.
• Provides comprehensive deposit services to individuals, fiduciaries, and small businesses in a retail branch. Promote the full range of deposit, lending products, and services that meets the clients’ needs.
• Identify and pursue new customer opportunities for additional products and services through proactive business development strategies.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and walk in opportunities to expand the branch’s customer base.
• Provides support on the teller line by assisting with daily transactions and customer inquiries. Maintain and balance a cash drawer, adhering to established policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.

Additional Responsibilities

• May assist with assigned duties or special projects.
• May function as back-up for courier service to ensure client’s needs are met.
• Supports Management’s efforts in achieving sales and audit objectives.
• Provide the highest level of customer service possible by following the guidelines specified by the Quality Customer Service Bank-wide Expectations program.
• Meet compliance and other training deadlines.
• Maintain a professional demeanor at community events and other activities where visible as a representative of the Bank.
• Assist in controlling expenses in the areas pertaining to responsibilities.
• It is the employee’s responsibility to perform duties in accordance with federal & state banking laws and regulations, as well as Pacific Valley Bank’s internal policies and procedures including BSA/AML, and to comply fully with those laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Additionally, managers and supervisors are responsible for creating an environment in which they hold their employees accountable for the above.
• Performs other ongoing duties or special projects as assigned by immediate supervisor or senior management.

Education, Experience, and Skills

• A minimum of two years experience in branch operations, including teller functions
• A minimum of two years experience new accounts opening and service.
• Positive, courteous, and knowledgeable image
• Able to quickly identify the client’s needs and offer sound solutions
• Extensive product knowledge and strong sales skills are essential
• An individual with strong planning, coordinating and analytical skills will be more effective in the position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
