Client Relations Specialist

About the role

United Coconut Planters Life Assurance Corp (Cocolife) is seeking a dedicated Client Relations Specialist to join our dynamic sales and account management team. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be the vital link between our clients and our organisation, ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships that drive business growth. You will play a strategic role in managing client accounts, identifying opportunities for expansion, and ensuring client satisfaction across our insurance product portfolio.

What you'll be doing

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and proactive engagement
• Managing client accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for assigned portfolio of clients
• Identifying client needs and recommending appropriate insurance solutions and products that align with their requirements
• Handling client inquiries, complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring swift resolution
• Coordinating with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and policy administration
• Monitoring client satisfaction and implementing strategies to improve retention and loyalty
• Preparing and presenting client proposals, quotations and policy documents
• Identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the client base
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in our systems
• Contributing to the achievement of client retention targets and revenue objectives

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in client relations, account management, or customer service roles, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Knowledge of insurance products and services, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex product offerings
• Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all documentation
• Preferred: Experience with Philippine insurance products or familiarity with the local insurance market
