What they need
Firm Type: Independent, Fee-Only RIA
About Blue Jay Financial Group We are a fee-only firm dedicated to a fiduciary standard. We want what’s best for our clients and work hard to identify what that is. We are a tight-knit, team-first culture where we enjoy what we do and pursue excellence together.
We’re looking for someone who cares about people, wants to help teach and coach wise financial choices, and is dedicated to excellence.
If you want to work with a collaborative team, learn the business from the ground up, and eventually have the freedom to manage your own clients and schedule, Blue Jay might be the perfect fit.
The Role: The Heart of Our Client Experience The Relationship Manager is an ambassador of our firm and the critical link between our clients and our financial advisors. You are responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a consistently high level of satisfaction, and providing the operational backbone that allows our advisors to deliver comprehensive financial planning. From being the warm first voice on the phone to managing the details of account onboarding, you ensure our clients feel cared for every step of the way.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Client Service & Front Office Management: Serve as the primary client contact and the first daily interaction for the office by answering phones. You will coordinate advisor-client communications, schedule meetings, and assist with daily office maintenance, cleanliness, and supply runs.
- Client Onboarding & Account Setup: Guide clients through the entire onboarding process, ensuring smooth and accurate account setups. You will facilitate the completion of all required documentation to make transitions seamless for new clients.
- Advisor & Planning Support: Support advisors by efficiently gathering and organizing client information for planning needs. You will prepare and update documentation to support advisor recommendations and actions, as well as maintain the advisor’s schedule.
- Operational Execution & Account Monitoring: Maintain and monitor accurate client accounts, ensuring timely updates across all platforms. You will maintain records in our CRM for accurate reporting.
- Compliance & Documentation Management: Review client files to ensure all documentation is complete, current, and accurate. You will maintain organized records to support audit readiness and meet all internal and regulatory compliance standards.
Who We Are Looking For
- A Natural People Person: You possess excellent communication skills and genuinely enjoy interacting with clients, ensuring their needs are met proactively and professionally.
- Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented: You thrive in an environment where accuracy matters. Whether you are processing paperwork or logging tasks in the CRM, nothing slips through the cracks.
- Process and Efficiency-Focused: You enjoy designing and operating well-made processes, creating efficiencies, and saving time.
- Team Player: You are willing to roll up your sleeves to help the office run smoothly, whether that means solving a complex account issue or handling daily office maintenance.
- Problem Solver: You take ownership of client inquiries and operational roadblocks, tracking them relentlessly until they are fully resolved.
Why Join Us? Be Part of a Team That Cares
- Meaningful Work: You won't just be processing paperwork; you will be building relationships and directly impacting the peace of mind of the families we serve.
- Supportive Culture: We foster an environment where you can work hard, take pride in your role, and be truly valued by both the team and the clients.
- Quality over Quantity: We recognize that capacity has limitations. We prioritize delivering exceptional service to our existing clients rather than pushing for unlimited growth at the expense of our team's well-being.
- Family First: We believe that family is the most important thing in a person’s life. We are flexible, and want you to be as present with your family as possible.
