Intertek Envirolab, comprising Envirolab Services and Labtec Auckland, provides a broad range of laboratory testing services such as environmental chemistry, microbiology, asbestos, workplace exposure & air monitoring, and product formulation and agrichemicals.

We are a NATA-accredited laboratory servicing Environmental Consultants, Mines, Occupational Hygienists, Government Departments, Industry, and the general public by providing great service and quality.

About the Role

A client service and sales-focused role where you will be the main point of contact for clients, preparing quotes, managing sample dispatch, coordinating deliveries, maintaining customer support and providing sales oversight. This position requires an individual who can work independently, has an interest in scientific laboratory operations, can solve problems quickly, and manage competing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for clients – prepare and follow up on quotes, resolve sales enquiries
• Manage client calls and emails, providing advice on Envirolab’s testing services, sample preservation, and equipment requirements.
• Assembling, labelling and preparing sample bottle packs with the appropriate preservation chemicals depending on the order requirements.
• Picking up samples from customers and dropping off orders (own vehicle required).
• Receiving, packaging, and sending samples to our Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth laboratories.
• Monitoring and managing stock levels to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintaining accurate records and client interactions in the CRM system.
• Supporting general office administration tasks as required.

About You

The right candidate will possess:

• A valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• 1+ years of experience in client service and sales roles
• A science qualification or laboratory operations background is preferred
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to maintain multiple priorities
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Experience using CRM and Microsoft Office systems
