What they need
Ready for a Client Liaison role with more opportunity?
Are you an experienced Client Liaison looking for a role where you can do more than simply manage a large client list?
At Omni Projects, we take a more personalised approach to building, and that extends to the way we manage our clients.
Rather than managing the very high client volumes often associated with Client Liaison roles, you will work with a smaller, more manageable client portfolio, allowing you to genuinely know your clients, understand their builds and provide the level of communication and service they deserve.
With a manageable client portfolio, you will have the opportunity to provide the level of communication and service you know your clients deserve, while having the opportunity to develop and learn.
This is a unique role that offers mentorship with a highly experienced team, for career growth and professional development across multiple areas of Building.
About the Role
You will take over the client journey following completion of Prestart, preparing each file for construction and becoming a key point of contact as the home progresses through construction, Practical Completion, Handover and Maintenance.
This isn't a role where you are simply sending progress updates. You'll be involved in the detail of each build, working closely with our Construction Manager, Site Supervisors, Estimating, Drafting, Accounts and the wider Omni team to keep jobs moving and clients informed.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for guiding and supporting our clients throughout their entire building journey, ensuring they receive exceptional service and clear communication throughout every stage of their build.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of the Client journey and communication following Prestart and preparing them for construction
- Guiding clients through the construction process from site commencement through to Handover
- Providing regular, proactive, and meaningful progress updates
- Managing client enquiries and expectations professionally
- Preparing and coordinating post-contract and construction variations
- Liaising closely with Site Supervisors and the Construction Manager regarding progress, client queries, and site matters
- Coordinating documentation, approvals and information required to keep jobs progressing
- Assisting with Practical Completion and Handover
- Supporting clients through the Maintenance period
- Maintaining accurate client records, correspondence, and tasks within our Truth Engine CRM System
- Working collaboratively across the business to identify and resolve issues before they become problems
Why this role is different
We know experienced Client Liaisons can often find themselves managing extremely large portfolios, leaving very little time to actually provide the level of client service they would like. That's not how we want this role to work.
You will have a manageable portfolio that allows you to be across the detail of your jobs and build genuine relationships with your clients. You will also have exposure beyond a traditional Client Liaison position.
Working closely with our construction and management teams will give you the opportunity to broaden your technical and operational knowledge and develop a much stronger understanding of the complete building process.
For someone who has already established themselves as a Client Liaison and is wondering ‘what's next?’, this role offers the opportunity to grow your knowledge, take on greater responsibility and develop with the business.
About You
We are looking for someone who already understands the residential building environment and can confidently manage and deliver and exceptional experience for our clients.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience as a Client Liaison, Client Services Coordinator or similar within residential construction
- A good understanding of the residential building process
- Strong communication skills to have both positive and sometimes difficult conversations with clients with a calm, practical and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent organisation and follow-up skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple jobs, priorities, and deadlines without losing sight of the client experience
- The ability to build strong working relationships with clients, supervisors, trades, and internal teams
- Confidence working with Truth Engine CRM system, Constructive online portal, and Microsoft Office
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys client liaison and takes pride in providing a great experience, but is ready for a role with more ownership, greater variety, and growth.
